Texas Christmas Lovers May Experience Christmas Tree Shortage
For those in Louisiana who still love to put a live Christmas tree in their house for the holiday season, we have some discouraging news.
Growing up I loved the smell of the fresh pine tree in our house for Christmas, but in recent years, at home, we've resorted to the artificial tree out of ease, but yes, I do miss a live tree in our house for the holiday season.
While we may have gotten rid of the live tree in our house, many still go to tree farms to harvest their own or go to Christmas tree lots to select the best tree for their home.
Well, for the 2024 Christmas season, you may see fewer live trees available and it has nothing to do with someone poisoning them, but rather it has everything to do with hurricane season.
According to a report, a Christmas tree farm in North Carolina was left devastated after Hurricane Helene. Over 80,000 trees were damaged and will not be available this season.
So, if you're hoping to get a live tree this holiday season for your home, you may want to consider purchasing one sooner rather than later.
Christmas comes and goes so quickly these days, it's fine to start the season a bit early so that you and the family can enjoy everything that comes with Christmas.
In addition to the storm that hit the East Coast, some are reporting that there could be a shortage of Christmas trees due to warmer temperatures in parts of the country where trees are grown.
