This vibrant celebration of spring also serves as a fundraiser for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Ira Nelson Horticulture Center. It’s more than just a festival—it’s an educational experience highlighting the beauty and benefits of horticulture and gardening.

Festival des Fleurs is made possible through the help of several local gardening organizations, including the Lafayette Garden Club, Bonsai Society of Acadiana, and the Acadiana Orchid Society.

The Bonsai Society will exhibit miniature trees carefully nurtured by their members, who will also be on hand to answer questions.
