Louisiana Saints Fan Sparks Intense Brawl at Chargers Game, Punches Man a Dozen Times
This past Sunday, New Orleans Saints fans were left disappointed, not only by the team’s performance on the field but by an ugly altercation in the stands that has since gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
A Saints fan was caught on camera brawling with a Chargers fan, overshadowing the Saints' sixth consecutive loss, a 26-8 defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The video which now has hundreds of thousands of views shows an intense brawl between a Saints fan and a Chargers fan in the stands, capturing the shock and dismay of nearby spectators.
The altercation erupted during the Saints' 8-26 loss to the Chargers, as fans' frustration ran high.
In the clip, a male Saints fan sporting a No. 94 Cam Jordan jersey can be seen tackling a Chargers fan to the ground and throwing a dozen punches, landing most of them.
The Saints fan, visibly agitated, pins the Chargers fan down and repeatedly strikes him, even as another Chargers fan tries to intervene by grabbing the Saints fan by his belt to pull him away.
But the Saints fan holds on to the Chargers fan, sits back in his seat, and cocks back his arm to deliver another punch.
Around them, fans are heard shouting, “Oh come on! Get him out of here!” and “Stop him!”
Interestingly, one man sitting directly behind the brawl appears completely unfazed, casually eating his chicken tenders while chaos ensues in front of him.
The man wearing the Bush jersey didn't throw any punches in the video; someone is holding him back while he tries to get the attention of the enraged Saints fans.
The Internet Is Not Impressed

Under the video, one user commented, "I don’t get why people fight at games," capturing the sentiment of many baffled by such aggressive fan behavior.
Another user, Tatums0burner, weighed in, saying, "People really throwing their life away over a football game... do better." There is a growing concern over how far some fans are willing to go over a game, risking not only their own safety but also the experience of those around them.
IceTrey8_ added, "It’s out of hand at this point. I’d like to take my kid to a game," Is it too much to ask that sporting events be a safe place for families?
We have not confirmed the reason behind why this fight was started, but is there ever a reason to display this kind of violence at a sporting event?
Warning: Viewer discretion is advised regarding the violent behavior displayed and the explicit language used by spectators in the video.
