Okay, let us be frank for a second. Bruce is out and Jude is flying solo on the show this week. Scotty found out and said in his deep baritone voice, "This can't be good."

Next thing we know, he offered some help and we took him up on it.

So, Scotty will be on for an entire hour -- 7:00 am to 8:00 am -- and he'll cut up and have some fun with us.

Now, don't come running to the station to meet him. Unfortunately, he won't be in-studio, but rather at his home studio in North Carolina. But it'll still be live radio!

It's an exciting time for Scotty. He's on a stretch of hit song after hit song. He's got a brand new one we're playing on 97.3 The Dawg entitled "Fall of Summer."

That song is off of his latest album, "Rise & Fall." That album has already spawned a #1 hit in the smash, "Cab in a Solo."

Scotty's appearance on the Bruce & Jude show is a precursor to the debut of his new music video for his latest single, the aforementioned "Fall of Summer." He's actually doing a live chat following the video premiere at 10:00 am on YouTube.

This should be a fun and memorable show so make sure you're tuned in while you're heading to work, school, or wherever you may be at the time of the day.

About Scotty McCreery

Now 30 years old, America first fell in love with the Garner, North Carolina native after he won the tenth season of American Idol in May 2011.

His debut album, Clear as Day, was released in October 2011 and was certified platinum. To date, he's released six studio albums.

He didn't start having significant radio success until 2017 when his song "Five More Minutes" went viral. The song became his first #1 on the Country Airplay Charts.

McCreery has been on a roll ever since with chart-toppers such as "In Between," "You Time," "This Is It," "Damn Straight," "It Matters to Her," and more.

Earlier this year, McCreery was invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. His induction took place on April 20, 2024.

McCreery is married to his bride Gabi and together they have a nearly two-year-old, Avery.
