Louisiana will soon be home to an epic, new holiday drive-thru lights display that is sure to delight those of all ages this Christmas season.

It's called The Merriest Mile and it will be located at the Livingston Parish Fairgrounds.

About The Merriest Mile in Livingston, Louisiana

As the name suggests, the whole experience is a mile long and you can enjoy it from the comfort of your vehicle.

Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a dazzling winter wonderland set to music. This one-of-a-kind light display will feature synchronized scenes that sparkle to classic holiday tunes. You'll simply tune into a designated radio station and enjoy the sights and sounds along the way.

Louisiana's Tallest Freestanding Synchronized MegaTree

The showpiece of the whole light show is Louisiana's tallest holiday structure, a 50-foot MegaTree that glistens with 30,000 pixels of pure Christmas wonder.

Each turn down the one-mile trek will hold something new, from Mrs. Claus' cookie factory to the Reindeer Flight. And, there might be a few Cajun friends like some red crawfish and green alligators to add a bit of Louisiana flare.

What are the dates for The Merriest Mile?

The Merriest Mile will run from November 29 through December 31, 2024, and it will run every day of the week during that stretch.

Sundays through Thursdays it's open from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm while Fridays and Saturdays the hours are 7:00 pm to midnight.

How much are tickets for The Merriest Mile?

Tickets will be $25 per vehicle (up to 8 people) on Sunday through Thursday nights and will go up to $30 per vehicle (up to 8 people) on Friday and Saturday nights. (The price will also be $30 for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.)
