Louisiana’s Ragin Cajuns Send Jon Gruden Giant Box of UL Swag

Former NFL head coach and sports broadcaster Jon Gruden recently posted a video to his Facebook page unboxing a huge care package of UL Ragin Cajun swag.

While the incredible Ragin Cajuns gear sent to Gruden is impressive, it's Jon Gruden's knowledge of Ragin Cajun football that really takes center stage in this awesome unboxing video.

Jon Gruden, former head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders, now Las Vegas Raiders, just recently signed a multi-year deal with Barstool Sports.

He has partnered with Barstool Sports, hosting his new show "Gruden Goes Long," where he interviews former players and shares his insights from his coaching career.

In February 2025, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reinstated Gruden into their Ring of Honor after being removed in late 2021 over a leaked email scandal.

In a video posted to Facebook today (3/31/25) Jon Gruden shows a recent package he's received from none other than the UL Ragin Cajuns Football Team!

As Gruden opens the box to show everyone the incredible Ragin Cajuns gear the team has sent him, he name drops former Ragin Cajuns football players from throughout the years in a manor that is truly quite impressive.

Charles Tillman, Ike Taylor, Bryan Mitchell, Brandon Stokley, Ladarius Green, and Percy Butler all get a shout out in Gruden's unboxing video.

He even shouts out former Ragin Cajun, the late Richard Simmons!

Obviously, Jake Delhome gets a special shout out from Gruden, but I won't spoil it for you.

Jon Gruden even proclaims that Ragin Cajuns is probably the best nickname in all of college football.
