LSU Head Football Coach Brian Kelly does have some weird tendencies, lets get that out of the way first. But to be fair to Kelly, he's coaching at a school where one of the National Championship coaches ate grass while on the field (regularly) and another National Championship coach sounded like a cartoon character based on Cajun stereotypes. So his "weird" isn't quite that weird.

But there are some really butthurt fans who are trying to make him seem like a totally psychopath because of a great troll job.

It started when Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin decided to rip major sponsor Coca Cola during a press conference. He asked if anyone actually drinks it, then called someone in the room "coked up". Watch this weirdo here...

So Brian Kelly decided to open the first press conference he had after this little Lane Kiffin display by drinking a Smart Water, which is a Coca Cola product. In addition to drinking the product, he thanked the company for being a sponsor, and fully endorsed their products. You can see that troll job here:

So that's it right? Kiffin disses a major sponsor, Brian Kelly makes a joke out of it, and we go about our business. Well, except there are some weirdo fans that now think Brain Kelly is the one who looks like an idiot after he got one over on Kiffin.

I'm not kidding. You can watch those two videos back to back, and see that Kelly obviously got one over on the Ole Miss Coach. Yet the comprehension level in certain corners of the internet prevents some users from following along. So much so that The Sun wrote an entire piece on it, calling Brian Kelly "awkward" in their headline.

Which actually makes me wonder if we're getting trolled by The Sun. But not in the fun "ha ha" way people troll each other on the internet, more in the "the take was so bad now I have to say I was joking and it was a troll job and you just didn't get it, it was really funny" type way.

The Sun says "Most fans felt the joke fell flat as they commented on social media." while providing no links or sources outside of "trust me bro". Essentially platforming what might be Lane Kiffin's 4 burner accounts and considering them the gospel. It should also be noted that The Sun is such a great source of information that they misspelled Kiffin's name all over their "story" on the joke.

At this point, I'm not sure if these weirdo Lane Kiffin fans are actually writing the social media posts first, or putting them together while they write copy for their day-job at The Sun.
