Shaq Cancels DJ Diesel Show in Shreveport

Your Mardi Gras weekend just got a little lighter in Shreveport. Because one of the biggest events set for this coming weekend has been canceled.

Shaquille O'Neal, aka Shaq, aka DJ Diesel, the basketball Hall of Fame star was set to perform Saturday night at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. But that show was canceled early on Friday. Ticketmaster sent alerts out to those who had purchased tickets to let them know refunds would be processed.

The show was going to be a big part of the final Mardi Gras weekend in the city. Sandwiched by multiple Mardi Gras parades and Bal events. But even without the DJ Diesel performance, Shreveport will still be full of Mardi Gras madness this weekend. Here's the schedule of events without Shaq being involved:
