The Caddo Parish Commission has teamed-up with the Food Bank Of Northwest Louisiana, and will be hosting a drive-thru food distribution event at multiple locations across Caddo Parish on Saturday, November 22, starting at 9am and 10:30am.

Caddo Commissioner Stormy Gage-Watts, had this to say:

“We know that many families in our community are struggling right now, especially with challenges accessing SNAP benefits, the impact of federal furloughs, and the rising costs of food. Providing distribution opportunities, such as the Commission’s event, is a way to offer some immediate relief and ensure that no one in our parish has to face food insecurity alone.”

The distribution event is possible through an allocation by the Caddo Parish Commission and partnership with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana for food acquisition and distribution.
