Old Farmers Almanac 2024 – 2025 Weather Forecast For Lake Charles, LA
The Old Farmer's Almanac was founded in 1818 and has had a timeless appeal that spans more than three centuries. If that ain't a good track record, I don't know what is! The Old Farmer's Almanac has a trademark of offering readers a whole host of valuable information outside of predicting the weather.
HOW ACCURATE IS THE OLD FARMER'S ALMANAC PREDICTING THE WEATHER?
It's a source for information on all kinds of topics from fishing to cooking, gardening to conservation, fun facts, and more. Since 1818, (except for 2023) the Almanac says it's 80% accurate when it comes to predicting the weather, but most meteorologists say that's debatable. A University of Illinois study on the Almanac's accuracy forecasting the weather cited the book, when it comes to weather forecasts is only 52% accurate.
There odds would probably be better if the editors changed or updated them after they were presented, but they don't. That's still not bad odds given the fact it predicts the weather for 16 months at a time. Wanna see for yourself?
