Loose Tiger in South Texas Captured After Escaping Mexico Zoo
Social media post have been circulating about a loose tiger in South Texas and it has been confirmed! A tiger escaped a Mexico zoo back on Wednesday, September 3rd and has now been caught! The wild cat was captured after being nearly a week on the run. The tiger escaped its enclosure on Wednesday, September 3.
According to mysanantonio.com, the tiger escaped from the Quinta La Fauna Zoo in Reynosa, Mexico. Zoo officials alerted officials in Hidalgo County and their residents to be on the lookout for the tiger. The tiger was captured on September 10th in the rural community of Los Longoria, which is south of the border town of Reynosa.
