Rusty Metoyer has become one of the hottest zydeco bands in not only Southwest Louisiana, but the entire Deep South. The band is led by Rusty Metoyer, a self-taught musician from Lake Charles. Music runs in his family—his uncles and grandfathers all played Creole French, Zydeco, Jazz, and Blues. Rusty picked up the accordion by ear in the traditional French style, and he’s proud to keep his Creole roots alive.

This weekend, Rusty Metoyer and Zydeco Krush are going to be back in the Lake Charles area on Friday Night. Juicy's Lounge at 809 3rd Drive is celebrating all of the December Birthdays in SWLA with a massive show on Friday, December 5th. Doors open at 6, show starts at 7:00.
