Postponed Frank Foster Concert In Lake Charles Has New Make Up Date
Everyone was all set last Friday to see one of their favorite Louisiana country boys perform live at the Golden Nugget. Unfortunately, Frank had some issues getting down to Lake Charles and the show had to be postponed.
Frank took to social media to announce that he wasn't going to be able to make it down to Lake Charles. He also explained why he wouldn't. Here is that post.
Frank is from the little town of Cypress Bottom, Louisiana and he is known in the industry as an independent artist. Those are the type of artists who have done it their way. He has never signed a national recording contract from one of the big boys in Nashville. Instead, he has released all of his albums himself and some of them have landed in the top 5 on the Billboard charts which is unheard of by someone with no national backing.
Frank's hit list includes Blue Collar Boys, Something About Being Free, Unwind, Red Bird, Backroad Boyz, and Rowdy Reputation. Frank Foster has done several concerts here in the Lake Charles area including playing at the Cowboy Country Fest and the popular Marshland Festival here in Lake Charles.
The Frank Foster concert has been rescheduled and set for Saturday, March 29, 2025, and Frank is expected to hit the stage at 8:30 pm that night. The show will take place at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center here in Lake Charles.
