LHSAA Releases 2025 Baseball Playoff Brackets

KNGT-FM - The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) has officially released the 2025 baseball playoff brackets, and that means it’s time for teams across the state to get ready for the postseason. With the regular season now complete, every school now knows what their path to a state championship looks like.

All roads to the Louisiana State Baseball Championships lead to McMurry Park in Sulphur. The 2025 LHSAA Baseball State Tournament will take place from May 13-17, with games happening throughout the day, each day. The excitement will be building as teams fight for a chance to play at one of the top baseball complexes in the state.

McMurry Park is no stranger to big-time events. It’s been the home of the Louisiana Games Baseball Tournament and has hosted the Dixie Boys Super World Series for 13 and 13/14-year-olds. The park has also seen national attention, including when the U.S. Women’s Olympic Softball Team stopped there during their tour before the 2008 Beijing Olympics. That game drew the largest crowd in Louisiana softball history.

There have been a few changes to the playoff format that is set to take place this postseason. For Divisions I, II, and III, semifinal matchups will now be held on campus in a best-of-three series format. This gives top-seeded teams a chance to host some exciting playoff action at home.

The State Championship Series, however, will still be played in Sulphur at McMurry Park and will also be a best-of-three format.

With the brackets now out, teams, fans, and coaches are already counting down the days. Only a few weeks remain before the top high school baseball teams in Louisiana battle it out for state titles. Let the road to McMurry Park begin!
