Starting next Friday, May 23, and running every Friday through June 13, the heart of downtown will come alive from 6 to 9 p.m. with live music, food, and tons of local art. As it does every year, Downtown at Sundown takes place on the 1000 block of Ryan Street, right in front of Historic City Hall and the Calcasieu Parish Courthouse.

Whether you’re bringing the family, meeting up with friends, or just looking for something fun to do, Downtown at Sundown is for everyone. You can bring lawn chairs and blankets, stretch out under the lights, and enjoy everything from local bands to food trucks and art vendors.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages are permitted. Chairs and blankets are welcome; however, pets, coolers, smoking/vaping, or outside alcohol will not be allowed on site.
