This festival has a little bit of everything. Whether you're into pig scrambles, seed spitting contests, carnival rides, or just walking around enjoying the food, there’s something here for you. And yes, there will be plenty of cold, juicy watermelon to go around.

A lot of the favorites are back this year at the Beauregard Watermelon Festival, including watermelon-eating contests, seed-spitting contests, and even a Mullet Contest. You can also learn the Watermelon Crawl line dance.

There will be vendor booths with all kinds of cool crafts and unique items for sale, plus a full stage carnival where you can ride rides and maybe win a few prizes.

Live music will be happening all weekend with local favorites like Dustin Sonnier and the Bernie Alan Band. Every night of the festival, there will also be a Melon Voice Singing Competition that will feature local singers competing to see who is the best singer in the area!

And of course, go hungry. There will be plenty of fair food favorites like funnel cakes, corn dogs, and more. But make sure you save room for the real star of the show, fresh-cut, ice-cold watermelon.
