Congratulations, you've made it another fantasy football regular season in the books. I can't believe it's come and gone as fast as it did. Some of you had really strong seasons, some snuck into the playoffs, some of you were heartbroken, and some had a terrible year.

Regardless of where you sit you've still got to push through the end of the season, whether it's pushing towards a fantasy championship or playing to not finish last... Today is the day that's everyone's favorite day during the week leading up to the games, Waiver Wire Tuesday.

As a rule of thumb, if you're new to our weekly fantasy football column we don't look at players off the waiver wire who are owned in more than 50% of leagues and we use ESPN.

Happy hunting.

Sam Darnold, NYJ vs. MIA (33% Owned)

So, the Sam Darnold train finally hit some skids last week but that won't deter this fantasy football player as he returns home this weekend facing the best fantasy match-up in the NFL in the Miami Dolphins. I'm still all in on Darnold for one more week if you need a good match-up quarterback, keep him rolling for one more week. In addition, his pass-catchers didn't help him out in the game against Cincinnati dropping a countless number of passes.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, MIA @ NYJ (6% Owned)

We just talked about one side of the Jets-Dolphins match-up how about sprinkling in a little FitzMAGIC into your fantasy football lineup this week? New York ranks 17th against opposing fantasy quarterbacks and he's coming off a solid game against the Philadelphia Eagles in week 13. He threw for 365 yards, three touchdowns, a pick and garnered you nearly 27 fantasy points. If you need a streaming option FitzMAGIC might be a good place to turn.

Benny Snell Jr., PIT @ ARI (29% Owned)

No James Conner, no problems for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they defeated the Cleveland Browns last week as Benny Snell got the lion share of the work and was effective. Snell carried 16 times for a modest 63 yards but grabbed the all-important touchdown which made his day relevant with 13 points. He's facing the Arizona Cardinals defense this week who rank 24th against opposing fantasy running backs this season. If Conner doesn't play feel good about firing up some Benny Snell once again.

Alexander Mattison, MIN vs. DET (19% Owned)

The Minnesota Vikings lost starting running back Dalvin Cook to a chest injury in the second half of their Monday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks but did score you a touchdown. After the game, Cook did say he would be ready to roll for this week against the Detriot Lions but we'll see how he deals with the injury as the week rolls on. If Cook were to miss any time then you NEED to own Alexander Mattison who has looked like one of if not the best backup running back in the league when he's gotten an opportunity.

Rashaad Penny, SEA @ LAR (41% Owned)

It seems we've entered into a timeshare for the Seattle backfield between Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny. If you're in search of a running back heading into the playoffs you have to feel pretty decent about Penny's opportunity as you've seen it for two straight weeks. Over the past two games, Penny's averaging an astounding 22 fantasy points per game. This might be a tough game against the Rams who currently rank 13th against opposing running backs but Penny also received four receptions this past week as well.

Russell Gage, ATL vs. CAR (6% Owned)

We're sticking with the Gage train again this week as he continues to shine with no Austin Hooper and there was no Julio Jones last week also. Over the past five games, he's garnered 37 targets while catching 26 balls and scored his first career touchdown last week against New Orleans. If Julio has to miss any more time that could bode well for this young wide-out. If you're in a deep league you may want to take a flyer on Gage as a possible flex play with a solid match-up this week against Carolina's 22nd ranking against opposing wide receivers.

Zach Pascal, IND @ TB (21% Owned)

It's been a tough season for the Indianapolis Colts from an injury perspective as they began the year with Andrew Luck hanging it up, T.Y. Hilton has missed a good chunk of time, Brian Hoyer played a couple of games at QB, and Marlon Mack broke his hand. Wide receiver Zach Pascal has emerged as the Colts top target and seems to have a solid connection with QB Jacoby Brissett and he got over 100 yards receiving last week for the second time this season. With a terrific match-up against the Tampa Bay Bucs up next things could continue to look up.

Ryan Griffin IND vs. MIA (26% Owned)

As we continue to talk about Sam Darnold we'll keep talking about his tight end Ryan Griffin who was one of his pass-catchers who had a tough day hanging onto the football Sunday. However, he did receive seven targets so Darnold continues to look his way and if he can find pay-dirt the week is always worth it.

Additional dart throws at tight end:

-Dallas Goedert PHI vs. NYG (43% Owned)

-Jacob Hollister SEA @ LAR (43% Owned)

-Mike Gesicki MIA @ NYJ (15% Owned)

Best of luck in week fourteen.
