Former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid wasn't out of a job long. According to a report from Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter of ESPN, Reid is on the verge of a deal to become the next head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Reid was also being courted by the Arizona Cardinals, and was scheduled to meet with ownership in Arizona. However, once the Chiefs met with Reid in Philadelphia, his plans to fly to Arizona were canceled.

Kansas City is coming off a 2-14 season. Despite the record, 4 Chiefs were voted to the AFC Pro Bowl roster. KC also owns the number one overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
