Could an early season match-up between the Wisconsin Badgers and the LSU Tigers be on the horizon?

It will be, if the Badgers have their way. And they want to play the game at Lambeau Field.

Wisconsin will open their 2015 season against Alabama, at Cowboys Stadium, and apparently would like to set-up another neutral field contest against another SEC power after that.

The Green Bay Packers would likely be also in favor of such as game, as they tried to convince Big Ten officials to play the conference's title game at Lambeau Field, before the Big Ten opted instead to play it at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

A game in early part of September at Lambeau Field is a lot more attractive to a team, especially from the south, along with their fans, than a game in early part of December.
