Do you want to hear more about the Dallas Mavericks, and less about the failures of LeBron James, and the Miami Heat, in the NBA Finals?

Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Kidd

The Dallas Mavericks are leading the NBA Finals, 3-2, and are only one win away from their first title.

So why is everybody talking about LeBron, and the Miami Heat?

Enough!...says CBSSports.com columnist Gregg Doyel.

Now, I've been a Mavericks fan since they first entered the league, back in the 1980-81 season, but it doesn't bother me that the talk has been about the failures of Heat, and LeBron James. James is the most high-profile player in the league, and the Heat have been the story of the NBA since the "Big Three" got together.

Look, if John Merrick would win The Masters, but Tiger Woods would struggle, and miss the cut, the talk would be more about Tiger.

That's just the way it is.

Besides, being a Mavericks fan, you don't have to talk about my team much, just as long as you say "World Champions".
