The New Orleans Saints are back in action on Sunday afternoon, when they hit the road to take on the Detroit Lions.

Kickoff time at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan is scheduled for noon, and you can hear all the play-by-play action on ESPN 1420, as well as 97.3 The Dawg.

The Saints, who were idle last week, defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in overtime, 37-31, back on October 5, to improve to 2-3 on the season, while the Lions defeated the Minnesota Vikings, 17-3, last week, to improve to 4-2.

New Orleans leads the all-time series, 19-9-1, and have outscored Detroit, 467-387, in the 29 match-ups between the two franchises, with the Saints winning the last four meetings.

Offensively, the Saints are averaging 26.4 points, 442.8 total yards, 309.8 passing yards, and 133.0 rushing yards-per-game.

New Orleans is led by quarterback Drew Brees, who has thrown for 1,574 yards and nine touchdowns, running back Khiry Robinson, who has accumulated 304 rushing yards with two touchdowns on 61 touches, and tight end Jimmy Graham, who has compiled 376 receiving yards, along with three touchdowns, on 34 catches.

Graham hurt his shoulder in the Tampa Bay game on October 5 and is questionable for the contest.

The Lions, offensively, are averaging 19.3 points, 330.2 total yards, 243.8 passing yards, and 86.3 rushing yards a contest.

Detroit is paced by quarterback Matthew Stafford, who has passed for 1,592 yards and seven touchdowns, running back Joique Bell, who has rushed for 226 yards and two touchdowns, and Golden Tate, who has 38 receptions for 495 yards and one touchdown.

Defensively, the Saints are giving up an average of 379.6ards-per-game, which ranks 23rd in the league, while the Lions are allowing 270.7, which ranks first.

The game opens a short stretch in which the Saints will play two of their next three game on the road.

The Saints host Green Bay next week, before a Thursday night game at Carolina on October 30.
