LSU Loses To Ole Miss, 81-67
The LSU Tiger men's basketball team dropped their 2012-2013 regular season finale on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Ole Miss Rebels, 81-67, in SEC action at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, La.
Ole Miss led at the half, 43-30, and then hung on for the 14-point win.
The Rebels out-shot the Tigers from the field, 53%-41%, and also finished with a 34-25 rebound advantage.
Marshall Henderson led the way for Ole Miss, scoring a game-high 22 pooints, while Andre Stringer paced LSU in a losing cause with 18 points.
With the victory, the Rebels improved to 23-8 overall, and 12-6 in SEC play, while the Tigers fell to 18-11 overall, and 9-9 in league play.
