LSU Gets #9 Seed in the NCAA Tournament

The LSU Tigers were projected to be one of the last four teams to be selected to the NCAA Tournament by ESPN's Joe Lunardi.
As it turned out, there was no reason to sweat.
LSU (22-10) will face the number right seed, North Carolina State,Thursday in Pittsburgh.
Kentucky was the #1 overall seed for the tournament. Villanova was the #2 overall seed and could be LSU's opponent in the second round should the Tigers be victorious on Thursday.
Duke was the #3 overall seed, while Wisconsin was the #4 seed.
The top four seeds in each regional are:
MIDWEST Kentucky, Kansas, Notre Dame, Maryland
EAST Villanova, VIrginia, Oklahoma, Louisville
SOUTH Duke, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Georgetown
WEST Wisconsin, Arizona, Baylor, North Carolina
Boise State, Dayton, BYU and Ole Miss were the last four teams selected.
