LSU Baseball Takes On Kentucky – Preview

The top two teams in the country will do battle tonight in Lexington, Kentucky, as the #1 LSU Tigers are on the road to take on the second-ranked Kentucky Wildcats.

Tonight's game will mark the opening game of a three-game, weekend, SEC series.

The Tigers are 31-7 overall, and 11-4 in SEC play, while Kentucky stands at 33-5 overall, and 11-4 in league play.

Sophomore right-hander Kevin Gausman (6-1, 2.76) is expected to get the start on the hill for LSU in the series opener, will Kentucky will counter with junior left-hander Taylor Rogers (4-1, 5.07 era).

Game times for the series are 6:30 pm on Friday night, 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and 1 o'clock on Sunday afternoon.
