The third-ranked LSU Tiger baseball team racked-up another SEC win, crushing the Alabama Crimson Tide, 10-2, on Friday night, in the opening game of a three-game, weekend, conference series, at Alex Box Stadium.

LSU scored all ten runs in the first four innings, including six in the fourth, to coast to the eight-run victory.

Austin Nola blasted a grand slam homer in that six-run fourth inning for the Tigers.

Kevin Gausman (6-1) picked-up the win for LSU, while Trey Pilkington (1-3) suffered the loss for the Crimson Tide.

With the win, LSU improves to 28-7 overall, and 8-4 in SEC play, while Alabama drops to 13-21 overall, and 4-9 in league play.

Saturday's game is scheduled for 6:35 pm.
