New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees had quite the final month of 2019.

For his efforts in December, Brees was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month on Thursday.

Brees guided the Saints to a 3-1 record in December, completing 104-of-138 passes for 1,188 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Also in the month of December, Brees eclipsed Peyton Manning and Tom Brady for the most career touchdown passes in NFL history.

Brees, who will turn 41-years old on January 15, has thrown for 77,416 and 547 yards over his 19-year career, both NFL records.
