Dikembe Mutombo Accused Of Gold Scheme

 Former NBA superstar Dikembe Mutombo is accused of being a go-between for a failed gold scheme between a Texas oil man and the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (Mutombo's former Congolese home).

While the accusations against Mutombo do not involve anything illegal, it portrays Mutombo as a hypocritical tycoon with more concern for his checkbook than his Congolese home.

Dikembe has not responded to the story yet.
